Can I use a photo and link back to one of your posts?

If you are a blogger, please contact me to request permission to use one photo (excluding tutorial images), with a brief one line teaser summary in your own words, that includes a clear link back to the original source in your blog post. (And I will thank you so much for the feature!)

(Technical stuff: please don’t ever edit my photos in any way without permission (including removing the watermark) and please never reproduce our text and tutorials. Not essential, but I would be grateful if you linked the image itself to the original post, and added < img nopin=”nopin”….> to your image html, thus encouraging pinning from the source.)

Please shoot me a quick link to your round up post when it’s finished, so I can pop over to read, comment, tweet, pin and share. ๐Ÿ™‚

Disclaimer

This is a personal blog about fun science activities performed by real kids, in real situations. I’m not a professor or science teacher. I’m a real mum who wants to encourage her girls to love science. I’m probably just like you! And so please understand that, whilst all efforts are made, there may be errors in the contents of this blog. It is intended to entertain and encourage, rather than strictly inform. It is based on my opinions only. Feel free to correct, contradict or partially agree with me. I love a good healthy debate!

But any comments that are slanderous, overly abusive, off topic or spam will be deleted without hesitation. This is a friendly site, please keep the tone kind.

All kids activities on this blog require attentive adult supervision. All activities here are ones that I feel are safe for my own children. Parents and carers will need to judge whether a particular activity is appropriate their child’s age and skill level.

If you are unsure about the suitability of a particular activity, I encourage you to contact your child’s health care worker for guidance. Appropriate and reasonable caution should be used when activities call for the use of materials that could potentially be harmful, such as scissors, or items that could present a choking risk (small items), or a drowning risk (water activities), with introducing a new food/ingredient to a child (allergies), or with using ingredients that are not safe for consumption (toxicity).

Observe caution and safety at all times. The author and blog disclaim liability for any damage, mishap, or injury that may occur from engaging in any of these activities on this blog.

Questions

If you have any science (or other) questions, please let me know! I love questions! I try to answer every one, and the best ones might even end up as a blog post. Please just bear in mind that it might take me a few days (or weeks) to get back to you. I’m just one person, and sometimes the joys of day-to-day parenting life take precedence over blogging time. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a 5 year old grandson, I’m trying to get him interested in home science experiments, things I can do with him on the weekends when I have him. He’s a smart little fellow, attention span not to long unless there is something happening and it doesn’t take a long time ant suggestions
